Water Festival at Pragnya Bodhini High School, Goregaon

Under Project Climate Ambassadors Mumbai Stockholm Pragnya Bodhini High School, Goregaon celebrated Water Festival on 7th August, 2018. The festival began with a power-point presentation on water related disaster management given by the climate ambassadors. Singing competition was held on Monsoon as the theme for all songs. The competitors gave out a variety of songs describes monsoon. Posters and working models were made by the climate ambassadors on various disasters management techniques such as contour bunding, rain water harvesting, tsunami mitigation by mangroves and coastal forests, sewage water treatment systems etc. More than 300 students from 6th, 7th, and 8th standard participated enthusiastically and it was a good learning for both students as well as teachers.
