International Mangroves Conservation Day Celebration and Plantation

On 26th July 2019 International Mangroves Conservation Day Celebration program organised by Mangroves Cell, Shree S. H. Kelkar College, Devgad, Srushtidnyan and Bhairavnath Bachat Gat, Taramumbri. Prof. Daptardar sir explained the Mangroves as Eco-system, it’s characteristics, importance and uses. Mr. Prashant Shinde show some awareness videos about mangroves conservation. Mr. Laxman Tari and Mrs. Priyanka Tari share there experience with srushtidnyan team about nursery work at taramumbri. Forest Ranger Mr. Deepak Sonawne and Mr. Shilwant Bhange told the importnace of mangroves and also appreciate the work of mangroves nursery. Then the programme ended with mangroves plantation at Taramumbari Beach.
