World Soil Day Celebration at Devrukh

Did you know? That fertile soil like a football field flows daily from its original site. Today is World Soil Day. This year’s concept is, “Save soil erosion – Save your future!” On the occasion of World Soil Day Srushtidnyan organised, Atleya-Sapre-Pitre College along with the young students and farmers women of Parsharamwadi village near Deorukh, on the topic of weather-based food-sustainable agriculture and organic soil conservation. Mrs. Sangeeta Kharat and Mr. Kunal Anareo interacted with the farmers by referring to the problems related to the production of this crop as well as sharing the experience of primitive seed conservation farming in Angawali village. In This Program activist Mr. Prashant Shinde, Mrs. Jyoti Khopkar, Tanmay Manjrekar and Mrs. Jayashree Shinde from Srushtidnyan, as well as Julia and Frida, an assistant worker for Future Earth in Sweden, were also present. To make this rally a success, Prof. Smt. Meera Kale, Principal of Parsaramwadi Zilla Parishad School, Shri. Vasant Bhowd, Shri. Laxman Zore and Smt. Anagha Bondre worked hard.
